November Update

The end of 2007 is coming quickly. It is hard to realize that we are relocated and in a new home. There is a lot of activity between now and our departure for Florida. Ann and I are going to attend the National Missionary Convention in Cincinnati this weekend. We are working with Crossroads Missions as exhibitors. We will take time out to go to Louisville Saturday afternoon to attend a reception in honor of Gilbert and Exie Dadisman’s 75th wedding anniversary.

Next week Scott and Allison will arrive on Wednesday and the others will be here on Friday to celebrate Thanksgiving. We will be leaving early Sunday morning to travel to New Orleans with others from Crossroads Missions. Our plan is to return on Nov 29, just in time for the Wilmore Old Fashion Musical Christmas celebration on Dec 1.

I have slowed down some on work around the house. There are a number of things that remain to be done but they are such that they can be done later. The garage is pretty much done except for painting which will require some warmer weather.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving

Headed Home

I am in the Abilene Regional Airport awaiting our flight to Dallas and then to Louisville. Our visit was good and we capped it off last night by thrashing Mom and Dad in Texas 42. Some might think we took advantaged of the aged but they had beat us up pretty bad until kast evening.

I’m ready to get home. There is still a considerable amount of work to do but hopefully I’ll will begin to find some “rhythm” in the day to day activities. That may be a little difficult with Thanksgiving and Christmas around the corner and then going to Florida for two months. It just may be that my life will be absent of “rhythm”.

Abilene

We arrived safely in Abilene yesterday. The weather is great. Cool and sunny. Ann’s parents are well. They thrashed us at Texas 42 last evening. We look forward to visiting the next few days. Hopefully, Harold’s bbq will be on the agenda. I am struggling with a dial-up connection on the internet. It is an opportunity to appreciate what has become routine.
